Before you apply for any job abroad, check the employer or agent in 3 simple steps.
1) Check the official list. Every real recruiting system keeps an official public list. If the name is not on the list, stop.
2) Check that the licence number matches. Ask the agent for the licence or registration number, then match it letter by letter on the official site.
3) Check the same job on the employer’s own official website. A real opening is posted by the employer itself, not only by middlemen on social media.
For New Zealand, use the Immigration New Zealand accredited employer list at immigration.govt.nz. For India, use the eMigrate active recruiting agents list at emigrate.gov.in.
Warning: the full list of 24,000+ New Zealand employers and 2,436+ India agents changes daily. Always check the official list on the day you apply. Never trust a copied old list from another website.
